Branches
The SGA's five governance branches — Executive Board, Student Senate, Student Treasury, Student Court, and the President's Cabinet.
The Student Body President, Vice President, and cabinet-level officers. The board meets weekly to review special requests, decide on expenditures, direct projects, and guide organizational priorities across the SGA.
The legislative body of the SGA, representing each college, graduate students, international students, veteran students, and residence life. The Senate listens to student concerns, creates enhancement projects, and works with department heads to address student needs.
Manages the distribution and allocation of funds generated by the SGA fee. Elected representatives serve as liaisons between the Student Finance Board and Registered Student Organizations, assisting with funding requests and financial questions.
The judicial body of the SGA. The Court hears university violation cases, parking and traffic citation appeals, student mediation, Honor Code violations, and Housing/Residence Life policy cases, and interprets SGA governing documents.
Co-chaired by the Chief of Staff, the Cabinet focuses on organizational transparency and accountability across the SGA. Cabinet positions are appointed by the Student Body President and change from year to year.
